Like most of the cities on Verden, Vale is religious. Almost every one of the gods in the vast pantheon are worshipped by someone.
Worship of The One is, of course, most common, followed by that of the Greater Gods. Almost all of the Lesser Gods are worshipped in some smaller way.
There are only a handful of Forbidden Gods that are illegal to worship in Vale and therefore wider Taelmoor. Because of the nature of the gods, no god is black and white and truly evil or good, but a handful of them bring such calamity on humankind that any contact with them is punished.
