Silver Archipelago

A string of warm islands that stretch west from Salt Town, the Silver Archipelago is so named due to the enormous deposits that cover its shores. Particularly high tides cause more than 90% of most of the islands to go underwater each day, and certain mineral concentrations in the rocks inhibit barnacles and other sea life from growing. As a result, these islands grow with a great intensity when the sun shines - hence the "silver" name.

This area is also known for the Silver Hull Pirates, a group of fishermen-turned-buccaneers who make a living plundering trade ships that pass through on their way to the bazaars of Salt Town.
